THE NOTHING West Coast Premiere: 2011 San Diego Christian Film Festival

RELEASED PICTURES is very happy to announce that THE NOTHING is an Official Selection of the 2011 San Diego Christian Film Festival.

THE NOTHING will screen in competition alongside 9 other films in the U.S. Narrative Film category.

The San Diego Christian Film Festival runs from December 27-30. More info can be found at their website.

THE NOTHING will screen on Thursday, Dec. 29th at 9:30 AM PST.

FREE SCREENING of THE NOTHING August 26th

In celebration of the completion of post-production of THE NOTHING, there will be a FREE screening held on August 26th at 7:00 PM.

The screening will be held at Grace Chapel (3279 Southall Rd. Franklin, TN). Grace Chapel was a co-production partner on the film, and the film’s barn location is located on the property.

This will be the first screening of the fully completed film, and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

THE NOTHING’s world premiere at the 2011 Nashville Film Festival was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the film, and for the great feedback we received. Our opening night screening was a sellout, and part of the largest opening night in the NaFF’s 40+ year history.

The evening was a dream come true for the Released Pictures team after many years of getting to this point. The version of the film screened at the festival is still in need of some various post-production tweaks, and we are currently busy getting those done, as well as planning the next stages of getting the film out there for people to see. Our World Premiere screenings at the Nashville Film Festival are just around the corner, and tickets go on sale to the general public TODAY, April 7th, at 10:00 AM CST.

If you are in the Nashville area  and would like to join us, tickets are $12 ($9 for festival members, free to laminate holders) and can be purchased via The Nashville Film Festival’s website: www.nashvillefilmfestival.org

THE NOTHING screens on opening night, Thursday, April 14 at 5:45 PM, and again on Friday, April 15 at 3:00 PM.

We have received official word that THE NOTHING will premiere at the Nashville Film Festival on Thursday, April 14th at 5:45PM at the Regal Green Hills 16. In addition, they have informed us that we will have an ADDITIONAL screening on Friday, April 15th at 3:00PM, so you now have two opportunities to come see the film during the fest’s opening weekend.
